As well-established national leaders, the NRC Biotechnology Research Institute's Health and Bioprocesses sectors aim at early drug development, from the identification and characterization of molecular disease targets to discovery, design and validation of lead drug compounds.

The Crossroad of Biotechnology Symposium provides valuable networking opportunities for leading Canadian and international health and pharmaceutical industry executives and scientists, as rooms will be reserved for the express purpose of conducting partnering meetings with NRC-BRI personnel.
